Worship  Arts Ministry

The worship arts ministry of FBCM exists to glorify and honor God through music and worship as we seek to lead people in a deeper and more meaningful relationship with Jesus Christ.  We have an open door policy, encouraging all who will to bring a joyful noise to God's house and join the praise!

Music Ministry Activities:

    ♦ Celebration Choir - This is the primary leadership group in the 10:45 am worship service.  Membership is open to adults 18 and up.  Rehearsals are each Sunday from 5:30 - 7:00 pm.  The choir rehearses in the choir room and is led by Pruette Plemens, with assistance from Matt Limbaugh, worship arts associate, and Deborah Plemens, accompanist.  Prior experience is helpful, but a desire to serve is the basic requirement for membership.  Any adult, regardless of age or musical experience, is urged to become actively involved in the Celebration Choir.

     ♦ Celebration Praise Team - The Celebration Praise Team helps lead worship in the 10:45 am service.  They are under the direction of Pruette Plemens, with assistance from Matt Limbaugh, worship arts associate, and Deborah Plemens, accompanist.

     ♦ Down Home Gospel Group - This group meets on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday nights of the month in Room D-218 from 6:15-7:15 pm.  The Down Home Gospel Group occasionally sings during the 8:15 am service

     ♦ Exaltation Choir - This choir rehearses on Mondays from 10 - 11:30 am in the choir room and also on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday nights from 6:15-7:15 pm in room D-218.  The Exaltation Choir sings every Sunday morning for the 8:15 am service under the direction of Matt Limbaugh, worship arts associate and Deborah Plemens, accompanist. 

     ♦ Instrumental Ensemble - This is open to all youth and adults who play band or orchestral instruments.  The ensemble provides accompaniment for congregation singing and choral anthems, as well as encouraging and worshipful instrumental music during worship services.  The group is under the leadership of Pruette Plemens, worship arts pastor, and rehearse every Wednesday in the sanctuary from 6 -7 pm.

     ♦ EPIC band - The EPIC band is a group of students who lead a contemporary style worship service for youth on Wednesday evenings.
