Prayer Ministry

Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.  - Jeremiah 33:3

First Baptist Church of Mauldin recognizes the importance of prayer to our church, our community and each person.  Through prayer we communicate with God, seeking His will and the growth of His kingdom.

The First Baptist Church of Mauldin Prayer Ministry Team coordinates efforts to encourage and grow prayer throughout our church.  Those efforts range from intercessory prayer to covering in prayer the many activities of our church.  The Prayer Ministry efforts include:

► Intercessory Prayer Room - church members volunteer one hour per week to pray over needs in our church and community.

► Youth Prayer Partners - Adults commit to pray regularly for a student in the FBCM Student Ministry.

► 2-3-1 - "When 2 or 3 of you are together because of me, you can be sure that I'll be there." (Matthew 18:20).  Groups of 2 or 3 will gather for 1 hour per month to pray specifically for our church and how God wants us to minister to those around us.

► Focused Prayer Groups - Small groups that pray for specific age groups, needs, events, etc of our church at any given time.

If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themsleves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. -- 2 Chronicles 7:14
