Greeter Ministry Team
Greeters are the FIRST CONTACT people will receive when they arrive on our campus!!
If you can share a smile and a kind greeting in the name of Christ; our Greeter Ministry Team needs YOU! We also have additional needs for those who can smile and greet “outside” in all kinds of weather!!
Who…can participate as a Greeter?
Adults from the ages of 18 to 80 AND OLDER!! And, Senior High Youth
What…do you do as a Greeter?
1) Inside our Facilities
Assist guests and others in our halls to our Worship Center; Welcome Center(s)
and Restrooms
2) Outside our Facilities
Assist guests and others who arrive on our campus for parking as guests;
handicapped assistance; and any needs of young families with children.
When…do you serve as a Greeter?
Sundays - 8:00 - 8:30 am
9:15 – 9:45 am
10:15- 10:45 am
Wednesdays - 5:45 – 6:30 pm
Special Events Upward Basketball Season; Upward Fall and Spring Soccer
Season; VBS; Easter Events; Christmas Events
Where…do you serve as a Greeter?
1) Inside our Facilities
Entrances to our Worship Center; Office and Kitchen Drive-through Entrances;
Playground and Food Service Line Entrances; Guest House Entrance; Main
Welcome Center Adults and Preschool Welcome Center
2) Outside our Facilities
Steeple Main Entrance; Front Guest Parking Area; Outside Office Drive-Through;
Section 2 Senior adult Parking Area; Back Kitchen Drive-Through; Outside
Worship Center entrances; and Porch Entrance at Steeple
How…do you serve as a Greeter?
A regular Greeter serves every Sunday or Wednesday. Sub-Greeters serve in the absence of regular Greeters. Event Greeter serves during the designated special events at the direction of our Greeter Ministry Team Leader.
